About Our Program Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is an extensive teaching center offering robust pediatric inpatient and outpatient training with comprehensive support in general and subspeciality pediatrics. Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is a 665-bed, quaternary care institution located in the South Ward of Newark, New Jersey. We care for the underserved community with a large focus on the Social Determinants of Health with rotation experience at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Rutgers University Hospital and Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
