The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Staten Island University Hospital is looking to fill a categorial PGY-2 resident position for the 2024-2025 academic year with a start date of July 1st.
Eligible applicants must be in good academic standing at an ACGME accredited OB/GYN residency program. You must have successfully completed one year (12 months) of training by June 30, 2024, be on track to complete residency in June 2027 and be competent to fill a PGY 2 level OBGYN residency program position. Applicants must have passed USMLE Steps 1, 2 CK, CS or comparable COMLEX Steps.
Interested candidates should submit the following information for review:
- Cover letter including reason leaving your current program and the reason you’re seeking transfer to our location/program.
- Complete ERAS application to include: (medical school transcript, MSPE, USMLE scores and personal statement).
- Medical school diploma
- Current CV
- Rotations completed with dates and rotation specific evaluations
- Most recent 6-month semi-annual review report
- Current ACGME Case Logs [Experience by Role Report] with all roles displayed
- CREOG exam scores
- Provide two names, titles and contact information for two references
- Provide the contact information for your current program director.
- International medical graduates must provide a copy of a valid ECFMG certificate and either have US Citizenship, US permanent resident status or provide notification of current visa status (please note: only J1 and H1B Visa’s are accepted).
