Hackensack University Medical Center

Surgery
PGY3 Start date: 2024-07-01 New Jersey Closed
Description
The general surgery residency at Palisades Medical Center seeks a categorical PGY3 or PGY4 level resident to start July 1, 2024.

Our residency began in 2012 and received continued accreditation status with the ACGME in 2019.  Our residents train at three superb hospitals- 1) Hackensack University Medical Center, a tertiary referral center and the largest hospital in New Jersey, 2) Englewood Hospital, a top ranked, high volume private hospital, and 3) Palisades Medical Center, our namesake, a genuine community hospital serving mostly underserved patients and situated on the Hudson River with incredible views of Manhattan.  These diverse training sites offer our residents the broadest possible exposure to general surgery.  Our residents come from all over the country and go on to excellent fellowship programs across specialties or directly into private practice.
