Texas tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso is seeking a candidate for preliminary PGY1 position to begin July 1, 2026.  University Medical Center of El Paso, an ACS-verified Level I Trauma Center, is the primary teaching facility for TTUHSC El Paso faculty, residents and medical students.  We are the only Level I Trauma Center in a 270-mile radius of El Paso. Our aim is to train broad-based general surgeons ready for clinical practice or fellowships.  Our intern's average 100-150 cases/procedures every year.
