Rutgers Health New Jersey Medical School Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency Program has an opening at the PGY 2 level available in July 2025. The Rutgers plastic surgery residency is approved for 3 residents per year for 6 years of training. The program includes clinical rotations at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ, Hackensack University Medical Center, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Saint Peter's Medical Center, and the VA Hospital. Eligibility:
Candidates must have completed at least 1 full year of an ACGME accredited General Surgery or Plastic Surgery residency by the start of the 2026 academic year, i.e. July 2025. All applicants must have US citizenship or a J1 Visa for those who require a visa to work in the US. If accepted, applicant must meet requirements for training certification in New Jersey and will need to obtain ABPS approval for the transfer.
