Description
St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center General Surgery Residency Program is seeking a PGY-2 preliminary General Surgery resident to begin on July 1, 2025. Eligibility requirements: Applicant must be a current PGY-1 resident in good standing or have already successfully completed a PGY-1 year in an ACGME accredited General Surgery program. Applicants should have current authorization to work in the U.S. Only complete applications will be considered. Candidates selected for an interview will be contacted when all application materials are received.
Requirements
- Current CV
- Personal statement
- Current BLS/ACLS/ATLS certification (if applicable)
- All ABSITE scores
- USMLE scores
- Copy of MSPE
- Copy of medical school transcript
- 3 letters of recommendation, with one being from the applicant’s most recent Program Director or Chairman (these can be sent under separate cover by the letter writers or coordinator)
- Verification of PGY-1 at an ACGME accredited program (pending completion or has been completed)
- Case logs (ACGME Defined Category Report)
- Most recent ACGME milestone report
- ECFMG cert. (if applicable)
