The Pediatric Residency Program at the Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) is accepting applications for a categorical PGY-2 position to begin July 2025 due to approval from the ACGME to increase the size of our residency for the new academic year! CAMC is a community-based, academic medical center and the largest hospital in southern West Virginia, serving a large area of the state and region.
We are located in historic and beautiful Charleston, West Virginia. Charleston is the state capital and largest city in the state. We are proud of our diverse population, amazing outdoor activities, and excellent schools. We are centrally located to numerous major metropolitan areas in North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, DC. In addition, Charleston offers a Downtown district filled with eclectic galleries, chic boutiques, and unique restaurants, breweries, and distilleries. Housing is affordable in a community-oriented locale. This area boasts a vibrant academic and professional community and offers a balanced professional career and a fulfilling personal lifestyle.

Applicants must be in good academic standing in an ACGME-accredited program or have a waiver for a year of training from the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) if training was previously completed outside the U.S.
