We announce the availability of two PGY-2 positions in Family Medicine at Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, California, for the July 2025 academic year. Due to two of our current PGY-1 residents transferring into different specialties, two openings have been created in the PGY-2 year starting July 2025.

Minimum Requirements:
o No history of disciplinary action during current residency training
o Successful completion of USMLE Step III or COMLEX Level III (No exceptions)
o Must be eligible for California medical licensure through the Medical Board of California or Osteopathic Medical Board of California.
o Must have credits of one full year of ACGME-accredited PGY-1 Family Medicine training by July 1, 2025. Candidates who are in a preliminary or transitional year will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
o Submission of PGY-1 ITE (In-Training Exam) scores if you are a current FM resident.
o If visa sponsorship is required, only J-1 visas sponsored through ECFMG will be considered
o Valid ECFMG certificate (for international medical graduates)
Required Supporting Documents:
o Current Curriculum Vitae (CV) and photograph of applicant
o Personal Statement limited to 2 paragraphs explaining your reason/goals for transfer
o All USMLE/COMLEX transcripts (including Step III or Level III)
o Copy of Medical School Diploma & Medical School Transcript
o Copy of milestones and summative competency-based performance evaluations
o List of rotations completed and in progress from current program.
o Copy of ECFMG Certificate (if applicable)
o Copy of current medical license (training license or full license) if you have one.
o Copy of ITE score from PGY-1
3 Letters of Recommendation, including:
o One from your current Program Director (no exceptions).
o Two from a faculty member or physician preceptor who directly supervised you during your current residency
