Description
The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota has an open position for a PGY-3 categorical resident for the 2025-2026 academic year beginning on July 1, 2025. To be eligible for the PGY-3 position, the applicant must have completed a PGY-1 and PGY-2 position in an AOA or ACGME accredited General Surgery program and in good standing.

- Dean’s Letter
- USMLE Transcript (Steps 1, 2 & 3)
- Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
- Rotations you have completed
- Rotation Evaluations
- ACGME Milestone Evaluations, each year of training
- ACGME Case Logs (defined category report, endoscopy report, critical care report)
- ECFMG Certification, if applicable - Include current US citizenship, green card, or visa status
- Letters of Recommendation (at least 3, including one from program director)
- BLS/ACLS/ATLS Certifications
- FES/FLS Certifications, if applicable
