Description

The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota has an open position for a PGY-3 categorical resident for the 2025-2026 academic year beginning on July 1, 2025.  To be eligible for the PGY-3 position, the applicant must have completed a PGY-1 and PGY-2 position in an AOA or ACGME accredited General Surgery program and in good standing.

  4. Medical School Diploma and Transcript
  5. Dean’s Letter
  6. USMLE Transcript (Steps 1, 2 & 3)
  7. Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
  8. Rotations you have completed
  9. Rotation Evaluations
  10. ACGME Milestone Evaluations, each year of training
  11. ACGME Case Logs (defined category report, endoscopy report, critical care report)
  12. ECFMG Certification, if applicable - Include current US citizenship, green card, or visa status
  13. Letters of Recommendation (at least 3, including one from program director)
  14. BLS/ACLS/ATLS Certifications
  15. FES/FLS Certifications, if applicable
