The New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital,  has an open position for a PGY-3 categorical resident for the 2025-2026 academic year beginning on July 1, 2025.  To be eligible for the PGY-3 position, the applicant must have completed a PGY-1 and PGY-2 position in an AOA or ACGME accredited General Surgery program and in good standing.

Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
Rotations you have completed
Rotation Evaluations
ACGME Milestone Evaluations, each year of training
ACGME Case Logs (defined category report, endoscopy report, critical care report)
ECFMG Certification, if applicable - Include current US citizenship, green card, or visa status
Letters of Recommendation (at least 3, including one from program director) current
Dean’s Letter
