The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Howard University Hospital is looking to fill a PGY1 position for the remainder of the 2024–25 academic year.
This position would start no earlier than January 1, 2025. Interested candidates must currently be in good standing in their ACGME accredited OB/GYN Residency Program.
The following documents are required for review:
- A cover letter describing your reason for leaving your current program and why you feel our program will be a good fit for you
- A copy of your complete ERAS application from your PGY1 application (including Personal Statement)
- Current CV
- Final Medical School Transcript
- Medical School Diploma
- USMLE/COMLEX Step 1, 2, & 3 (if available)
- Current Program Director Letter of Assessment and Support
- Two additional recent (within the prior 6 months) letters of recommendation from current program faculty
- A list of all completed rotations including dates and evaluations
- Milestone evaluations from PGY1 (if available)
- ACGME Case Log Summary Report
- CREOG Exam Score Report
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certification
- A copy of the MSPE letter
