Welcome to Alaska's only residency. Our program offers outstanding rural family medicine training through the help of the state's outlying communities and the Anchorage medical community. The curriculum emphasizes the many skills necessary for successful practice in remote settings such as ER, OB, Pediatrics, and Orthopedics. Special emphasis is placed on Trans-cultural Medicine because of the extreme diversity within our state. We combine our outstanding curriculum with excellent faculty and state-of the-art facilities in a physical setting known for beauty and year-round, world-class recreational opportunities. We feel that there could be no more unique and wonderful place to train and practice medicine than in America's 49th state.
